Ashleigh is a very active person and completed her studies in Myotherapy with a desire to be involved with elite athletes, as well as educate and help the general population with injuries and health, and avoid a desk job!
Ashleigh began her journey in sports-orientated Myotherapy with an internship at the Australian Institute of Sport at the end of her Advanced Diploma and has since worked with Melbourne Victory (soccer), The Melbourne Rebels (rugby), and Richmond Football Club’s AFL and VFL side.
Ashleigh has a passion for human movement and helping people. She is very interested in working with athletes from all kinds of sporting backgrounds and wishes to continue her studies from Myotherapy into Sports Physiotherapy in the future. Ashleigh has a lot of experience working with football players, but is also interested in athletics, specifically sprinting and jumping events, and surfing.
As well as sports massage, Ashleigh has an interest in helping the general population with postural related issues and pain management after experiencing injuries herself, and the impact it has on daily life.
Ashleigh has recently relocated to the Peninsula for the beach lifestyle. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing sports such as surfing, running, netball and weight training, and loves to travel and explore new places.
