Tom took up podiatry after he himself experienced foot troubles as a teenager, and has been a podiatrist at LifeCare Frankston since 2012. He enjoys being able to make a positive impact on people’s lives and helping people continue doing the things they love.
He is available for consultation at Frankston on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and every second Saturday.
Tom’s particular interests lie in the area of musculoskeletal podiatry including foot and leg pain, lower limb biomechanics, injury screening and prevention, and orthotic therapy. He has previously worked at the technical footwear retailer, Active Feet, and has extensive knowledge regarding footwear assessment and prescription.
Tom is also available for consultation for skin and nail complaints, diabetes foot assessments, ingrown toe nail surgery and paediatrics.
Tom is passionate about sport and fitness, especially tennis which is his main area of interest. He participates in pennant competitions and previously spent 3 years coaching before commencing his podiatry career. He also plays indoor soccer and is a regular runner and a keen follower of the NBA.
Off the sports field, Tom enjoys playing his guitar, cooking, and working hard in his garden.
